This paper aims to investigate the influence of different tool holder materials, structures and cutting parameters on the spindle contact characteristics and reliability, and propose corresponding design optimization schemes. In this study, experimental research and theoretical analysis are combined to carry out experimental measurements and theoretical calculations in aspects of spindle contact force, cutting force, friction coefficient and wear. The following conclusions are drawn: different tool holder materials have a small influence on the contact characteristics, but the improvement of tool holder structure can significantly enhance the spindle contact characteristics; the change of cutting parameters will have a serious impact on the spindle contact force, cutting force and tool wear, so it is necessary to optimize the cutting parameters to ensure the reliability of spindle contact. The research results of this paper can provide relevant technical support for machine tool manufacturing enterprises and promote the further development of China s machine tool industry.
