The symbiotic relationship between AM fungi and plants involves the fungus colonizing the plant roots, developing an intimate association with the plant cells and facilitating nutrient uptake. In recent years, there has been growing interest in the potential application of AM fungi in the cultivation of medicinal plants. Many medicinal plants require high levels of N and P, and the valuable secondary metabolites produced by these plants can be influenced by the availability of these nutrients. Therefore, understanding the interactive effect of AM fungi on N and P uptake and their application in medicinal plant cultivation is important. Research Objective The aim of this study is to investigate the interactive effect of AM fungi on N and P uptake in medicinal plants and to uate their potential application in medicinal plant cultivation. 1. Selection of medicinal plant species with high N and P requirements; 2. Preparation of AM fungal inoculum and inoculation of plant roots; 3. Study of the interactive effect of AM fungi on N and P uptake by measuring plant growth, biomass, and nutrient content; 4. Analysis of the effect of AM fungi on the production of secondary metabolites in medicinal plants; 5. uation of the potential use of AM fungi in medicinal plant cultivation. Expected Results We expect to find that AM fungi can significantly improve N and P uptake in medicinal plants, resulting in increased growth and biomass accumulation. This may lead to an increased production of secondary metabolites in the medicinal plants. Moreover, our study may provide insights into the potential use of AM fungi in the cultivation of medicinal plants, which could have significant implications for the pharmaceutical industry. Conclusion In conclusion, this study will provide valuable ination regarding the interactive effect of AM fungi on N and P uptake in medicinal plants and their potential application in medicinal plant cultivation. The results of this study could have significant implications for the development of sustainable and pharmaceutical industry.
