We measured the CT values of stones using a 64-slice spiral CT scanner and uated the stone composition and fragility. Results In this study, the stone compositions were calcium oxalate 61.5, calcium phosphate 15.4, calcium oxalate and calcium phosphate mixture 15.4, and uric acid 7.7. The average CT value of calcium oxalate stones was the highest 926.67223.48 HU, while that of uric acid stones was the lowest 347.57.07 HU. The average CT value of fragile stones 352.5059.44 HU was lower than that of non-fragile stones 950.63230.21 HU. Conclusion This study suggests that measuring the CT values of urinary tract stones using 64-slice spiral CT can predict stone composition and uate stone fragility.
