INTRODUCTIONThis document describes the ADSL Interface at the Customer Side in order to ensure interoperability between CYTA΄s ADSL Network and ADSL Customer Premises Equipment CPE other than those supplied by CYTA.This document is not a specification of ADSL CPEs. It simply describes the parameters available at the customer side of CYTA΄s ADSL network taking into consideration all applicable CYTA΄s ADSL transmission systems and related connection topologies. It also describes some specific requirements regarding the ADSL CPEs in order to ensure interoperability.The document is divided into two sections. The first section Section A describes the general characteristics of the customer side ADSL interface. The second section Section B describes product specific characteristics.In the present version, this document applies to CYTA΄s products shown in paragraph 3 section B.2. General Requirements of the Customer Side ADSL Interface SECTION AThis section describes the general requirements of the customer side ADSL interface in order to ensure interoperability at the physical layer as well as to ensure that the ADSL CPEs are manageable by CYTA’s DSLAM Managers. 2.1 ADSL Physical Layer a
